Portraits

My goal with my horse portraitures is to capture the spirit of the horse, not to just translate a photo into an oil painting. The brush stroke is very important to my paintings and I believe that by leaving evidence of the brush, the spirit of the horse is able to breathe life into the painting.

Commissions start at $400 and increase depending on the complexity of a painting.

Painting price structure;
25% upon commission, 25% upon approval of composition
remaining 50% due upon completion.
I will quote a price upon initial commission, which two initial payments will be based on. Final total price may be more than original estimate. .

Please allow 6 months from final approval of composition.
